Peel off lipstain! Win for the product, EPIC FAIL for me!

So this started out being a blog review for the peel off lipstain we have all seen around the internet. I have used it before and loved it so I thought why not review it at Disney!!

Sooooo this is how it started, and how it ended with an amazing win for the stain and an epic fail for me.

It goes on so nicely and the color matches the tube too! You have to use a fairly thick layer for it to pull off and it takes a few minutes to dry but when you do.....

A little gloss, a little liner and BAM!! I have to say they look pretty amazing!!

So here is where it started going down hill....
We were at the park and my boyfriend said babe, your lipstick is getting kinda splotchy.....
So I look and I was horrified.... This is why......
A couple of years ago I noticed I was having chronic chapped lips. I mean constantly! I mentioned it to my Derm, who was also then my employer and she diagnosed it as actinic cheilitis. Pretty much precancerous cells that have the potential to turn into squamous. So I used the chemotherapy cream on them for a week, almost two, and because it made them raw and hurt, I quit. And it never went away so I still have this condition. Here is where it turned ugly in this story. The areas of chapped lips aka skin cancer cells are dry and dead so they hold the stain... A LOT!!!

In this picture you can get a better idea of the areas. I wish I had taken a picture of when he told me but I was so horrified I just wanted it off. Those Scaly looking places looked so horrible after an hour!!

Here is where it is a win for the product... IT WOULD NOT COME OFF!!! Of course I can't dry scrub these chapped places or they become worse so I had to get a wet napkin and try and it took forever! So the stain wins!! It works better than you can hope! And I will be using the cream on my lips the proper way for the next three weeks so I can use my lip stains and sticks again with out being traumatized!!

I used WOW Peel off lipstain
in the color Rose Pink

Where can you get it
Here on Amazon. All six colors for under $10

You can apply directly from the tube but I am very much against contaminating your cosmetics and used a lip brush after putting some on a plastic spatula. Safety first ladies!!

Would I recommend it? Highly, as long as your lips are in good condition!!
